Renderings of distant night skies, vast tracks of desert, meandering rivers or close up views of insects inhabiting the earth all belong to the rich Australian landscape tradition. Above and Below focuses on examples of artistic responses to the Australian landscape taken from dramatic viewpoints and includes works by celebrated artists Fred Williams and William Robinson among others. New acquisitions by George Tjungurrayi and John Olsen are also among the many highlights.
