Graduate Studies in Art History
The Art Gallery of South Australia, in conjunction with the University of Adelaide, offers a
unique Graduate Program in Art History.
Teaching in both programs is based around the collections and exhibition program of the Art
Gallery of South Australia. This exciting teaching approach, drawing on the expertise of the
Art Gallery and the University, is an Australian first.
In 'hands-on' sessions in the Art Gallery, students find out about works of art in the Art
Gallery's collection, how best to display them, why they were acquired and more.
