‘Friends coming to lunch’ is the thinking behind the informal dining and menu at Art Gallery Food + Wine (AGF+W).
More than the name has changed at the Gallery’s restaurant.
Nykilja Butt has taken over as owner-operator of what is one of Adelaide’s favourite food venues, now retitled Art Gallery Food + Wine.
Nykilja has spent much of her life in other people’s restaurants. For the past eight years, she has managed events and overseen the welcoming service at the restaurant. Now she is excited to have stepped into her new role.
The kitchen is also moving forward with Linda Westacott at the helm. Linda works with local suppliers to bring good food to the city. The menu features seasonal, farm-fresh, unsprayed vegies, locally baked breads and dairy products from the Adelaide Hills.
The front-of-house team ensures the local produce keeps flowing with Adelaide-roasted Kicco espresso presented in stylish black cups. If you’re lucky enough to catch in-house coffee artist Bryan Astley driving the machine you’re sure to be in for a treat.
AGF+W is the ideal place to relax after visiting an exhibition, to bring the children for a healthy bite or to share a plate with friends and catch up over coffee.
