Local South Australian artists and designers Tiff Manuell, Simon Williams, Susan Frost and
Courtney Jackson have responded to the Art Gallery of South Australia’s current exhibition
Colours of Impressionism: Masterpieces from the Musée d’Orsay. Each has produced a range
directly inspired by the Impressionist masterpieces on display and are available exclusively
through the Gallery Store for a limited time only.
Tiff Manuell has created a limited-edition range of her signature style bags, clutches and accessories directly inspired by four masterpieces: Eduard Manet’s Moonlight over the Port of Boulogne, Claude Monet’s Vetheuil, Setting Sun, Berthe Morisot’s The Hydrangea and Paul Signac’s Palace of the Popes.
Jeweller Simon Williams has created limited edition wearable resin pieces, responding to the contrasting colours in Paul Signac’s The Palace of the Popes.
Local ceramicist, Susan Frost, has taken inspiration from the Impressionist’s colour palette and use of pattern found in domestic scenes and women’s clothing.
Painterly Impressionist landscapes and delicate snow tipped petals have inspired Courtney Jackson’s exclusive brooch pin range.
